Established in 2022 in memory of Donna, our foundation is dedicated to honoring her legacy by championing trauma-informed care for first responders. Recognizing the critical importance of mental health and wellness in this high stress profession, we strive to support those who face traumatic situations daily.
We are proud to collaborate with Camp Resilience, a non-profit organization that provides rejuvenating 3-4 day retreats in New Hampshire’s scenic Lake’s region for First Responders and Veterans, helping them restore their mental, physical, and emotional well being.
Additionally, we also work alongside Southern NH Critical Incident and Stress Management, an organization focused on aiding first responders in addressing mental health challenges, substance abuse, and trauma recovery. Both of our partners play a vital role in promoting wellness in the first responder community, an initiative that was close to Donna’s heart. Their contribution often goes unnoticed, yet they have a profound impact on the lives of those who serve.
Donna dedicated two decades of her life to the Hudson, NH Police Department, retiring as a Sergeant in 2013. Following her law enforcement career, she became a. massage therapist, providing care and support to many first responders. On September 21. 2021, while out training for her second Police Unity Tour, her life was senselessly taken. Struck from behind by a hit and run driver, she was killed in an instant. Her loss is not just personal - it is a reminder of the fragility of life.The events we put on and sponsor are a way for us to honor her spirit while giving back. We do all of this for Donna. We give back to organizations that were important to her and we honor her passion, purpose and supporting the wellness of first responders that she cared so deeply about.
